Beta Version ID has been changed to 14 two days ago.

Oh, and, ezodagrom, I suggest this site http://cdr.thebronasium.com/ for viewing Content Description Record instead of that uncomfortable CDR Viewer included in ClientRegistry Toolkit.

Oh, and, ezodagrom, I suggest this site http://cdr.thebronasium.com/ for viewing Content Description Record instead of that uncomfortable CDR Viewer included in ClientRegistry Toolkit.

I already use that website, I just go to the toolkit to take pictures (looks nicer in pictures, haha). I also use the toolkit when the website stops updating automatically.

The website sometimes stops updating automatically, when it starts updating again, all of the updates that happened between will be in a single cdr entry.

In this case, the website stopped updating on friday June 1st and started updating again wednesday June 6th, the Beta ID was changed to 14 not two days ago, but it was actually changed a week ago in friday June 1st (I checked out the Sonic 4 Ep2 entry friday night, it was already being listed as ID 14).

EDIT: And now it's version ID 15.

It has gone through quite a few test versions, that makes me wonder what the patch will do whenever it is released.

Today a patch was released for Sonic 4 Episode 2, now anti-aliasing works for any 16:9 resolution. It even works with custom resolutions, like 640x360, 800x450, 1440x810, 1680x945 (these custom resolutions can be used by editing the UserConfig.cfg file with a notepad, these should only be used in window mode though), as long as the resolution is 16:9, anti-aliasing should work fine (the following link has a guide on how to force anti-aliasing).

Here are a few 1920x1080 comparison pictures.

Before the patch:

After the patch:

After the patch with 8xMSAA forced through the graphics drivers:

http://cloud-2.steam...5211F47545B94C/

I would have also taken a picture with SSAA, but I don't have a 1920x1080 monitor, the pictures were taken in my brother's PC (his card can only force MSAA through the drivers, there's no option for SSAA).

Other than the image quality improvements, the patch also improved performance at lower resolutions.

This was tested in my almost 6 years old laptop, with a Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.0GHz) and a Mobility Radeon X1600, in the early part of Sylvania Castle Act 1:

1280x720 Before the patch - 20~25fps

1280x720 After the patch - 20~25fps

640x480 Before the patch - 25~30fps

640x480 After the patch - 45~50fps

800x450 (custom resolution) Before the patch - 25~30fps

800x450 (custom resolution) After the patch - 45~55fps

640x360 (custom resolution) Before the patch - 25~35fps

640x360 (custom resolution) After the patch - 60fps (with a few rare minor drops)

It's great that they fixed the resolution problem, but why did they stop there? Not including an AA option is terribly lazy, they could of at least given us an option to enable/disable it in the launcher options. The game looks good, but it looks A LOT better with some form of AA applied, which screenshots clearly shown.

...I hate jaggies in games. I tried forcing AA on through my nvidia drivers, but it won't work. The method through the inspector shows to select the game in a pull down, but it isn't there, and I can't find a way to add it. Trying to do so through the NVIDIA control panel doesn't seem to work either.

Any suggestions guys? =\

I have Nvidia graphics card and anti-aliasing (FXAA) seems to be working at 4:3 and 5:4 resolutions (including my display's native 1280x1024). Only FXAA works though, all standard AA modes don't work even with compatibility flag.

FXAA is different since it's not really an AA method, it's a post-processing filter, like AMDs MLAA.

About Nvidia Inspector, I can't really help since I don't have an Nvidia graphics card, it was someone else who got AA (most likely SSAA) to work with Inspector.
