Hey guys. Miss me?

One of the benefits of embargoing myself from the community for about 2 months was all the free time I got to myself. With it, I actually got a ton of work done and finished the side project I’ve been juggling for the last few years. Now that it is out of the way, I am free to draw for fun.

I started a 20^th Anny Art project as my next hobby, and me and my brother are going to try and draw a ton of the characters that don’t get as much attention as the others first. I’d love to show you guys a few and see what you think.

Also, I actually got around to booting up a page on DeviantArt. If you like to do business over there, feel fee to look me up.

The first on is everyone favorite Adventuring E-Series Robot. I really like this one.

Sticking with the SA1 theme, here's a group shot featuring some of my favorite characters.

O and C. So much fun to be had in Colors.

And here's a pic of what I'm currently working on. They are shaping up nicely.

On top of this Sonic stuff, I also have a Pokemon comic up and running. I hope that a lot of people will enjoy that series. If someone wants to see that, I can post a page or two of it later.

I have a lot more over on my DA page. So far I've gotten to do Scourge, Finitevus, Chao, Marine and a few others. Let me know what you guys think of them.

Also, on a side note, I am interested in doing commissions and such, but my knowledge of a "fair price" is kinda limited. If anyone wants to throw any input my way as to what someone like me could charge for a drawing or two, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for helping me out guys. I usually have my brother comb over my pictures for mistakes, but he's not with me right now.

One of the characters in my next batch of pics is Fang. I'm not too upset with the drawing, but there is something a bit off about it and I need more sets of eyes.

Its just a sketch, so I'll be able to incorporate feedback into the final copy.

Another good take of a Modern Style Nack. Color it, color it!

EDIT: ...Actually, I didn't see his tail, but it could use a bit of resizing. I know he uses it to bounce but it looks like he could slap somebody with it when turning around. :V

Don't worry, it will get colored in a little while.

I guess the tail is a bit lengthy. I'll do a little research on that before I sit down for the final copy.

*6 month bump*

Well, I'm pretty stoked.

I managed a rare feat for myself. I took on a large project. Planned it out carefully, and I actually saw it through to the finish. I'm usually the kind of guy who loses interest in larger projects (something else always appears which never fails to steal away my attention) - but I actually got my 20th anniversary series up and done. It was 40+ pictures worth of work, but I did it.

I wanted to bump my old art thread and say thank you to the handful of members in the ssmb who helped me finish my project. A couple of times there, I was in dire need of a critique, and you guys in the status boxes always came through for me. Thanks a ton.

I got a little inspired over in the Archie thread a few days ago, and I figured that I might as well share the results with some of you lot ^^.

 

 

Antoine’s been hiding all that Badass under his coat for years. I for one welcome his new redesign with open arms. I might color this one in if I get board over the next couple days.

(If some kind soul could vet that French for me I'd be most appreciative. I don't trust google translate to fend of Grammar nazis)

 

While I’m here, I might as well post some other things you guys might like. I got my hands on a tablet a few months ago, and after wrestling with the learning curve a bit, I think I’m starting to get the hang of it. Here is some of the stuff I’ve managed to do so far.

Oh man, I haven't dusted this thread off in... years. But I was feeling nostalgic and digging through some of my old art - figured I might as well update this space with some of my more recent work.

 

 

 

Its always fun to compare yourself over large periods of time. Its a nice feeling of accomplishment to see that I am continuing to grow as an artist. Gets you pumped to see what you might be capable of 5 years from now. ^^
