To celebrate 20 years of Sonic Adventure, we take a brief look at some of the best Sonic Adventure-themed merchandise released in 1998 and beyond!
This is a bit of sad news if you’ve been collecting the character plush toys that GE Animation have been putting out; they have confirmed that as of April 2017 they will no longer have the Sonic licence, therefore they will not be producing any new plushes.
Is there no stopping this 25th Anniversary train? Apparently not, as SEGA has announced its first ever collaboration with custom teddy maker Build-A-Bear. Starting this weekend, you’ll be able to get a special Sonic or Tails-themed bear while stocks last. Continue reading Sonic & Tails Speed To The Build-A-Bear Factory
You might remember how we brought you news regarding new Sonic licensing deals which were in the works, one of those was Toy Factory who were down to be making a range of Sonic plushes.
Well in their 2016 catalogue there is a picture of a Classic Sonic & Tails plush along with the words ‘coming soon.’
No pricing details or firm release date, the only clue as to where these plushes will be available is the ‘available for sale in Canada’ logo.
For those not keeping up to date with 25th clues… this makes another classic merchandise product for 2016.
What do you think of them, let us know in the comments.
It can’t be reasoned with, it can’t be bargained with, it doesn’t feel pity or remorse or fear, and it absolutely will not stop ever! Until yout wallet is dead!
GE have gone into overdrive in the last two years, and now another is on the way. Metal Sonic!
Standing at 8 inches tall it’ll soon be the turn of GE to make merch hunters raise their arms in the air and proclaim there can only be one Metal Sonic.
No release date yet. But expect it in the next few months.
GE Entertainment continues to make our wallets hurt, this time it’s Amy’s turn to get released.
No pricing details provided, because you can’t buy direct from them, have to rely on suppliers. Also oddly, no size measurements were provided this time. Not the first time Amy has had a modern plush, but this is certainly the most happy she’s looked.
As always, only Ebay & Amazon sellers will stock these.
