USA New Sonic Fan Convention Hitting Dallas, TX This November

The organisers behind the Chaos Creators Sonic Arts Festival are planning to stage a brand new Sonic the Hedgehog convention in Dallas, TX on November 11 and 12, 2023.

'Sonic Expo' promises to be a "grand celebration of our collective enthusiasm for Sonic", and is planning a number of activities such as panels with voice actors, a live rock concert, vendors, a Sonic Artist Alley and more.

A number of former Sonic the Hedgehog series voice actors have been confirmed as special guests, including Ryan Drummond and Jason Griffith (Sonic), Lisa Ortiz (Amy Rose) and Pete Capella (Silver), with Crush 40 singer Johnny Gioeli and composer Joshua Taipale also recently announced. Community content creators such as Victor McKnight will also be in attendance.

The Sonic Expo is currently running through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter where fans can help work towards stretch goals and further announcements. That ends on August 25, so if you're interested in supporting the event you should get your skates on and consider contributing.
