Been playing MGS1 from the Master Collection. Plays fine but wish it was 60fps.

lol watching the DF video and they show how the Series X native version looks worse than the 360 version it was ported from running on Series X in backwards compatibility.

So is this port up there with silent hills hd collection in how bad it is? I’m hearing almost mostly negative things about it in terms of quality ranging from its visuals to spelling errors

It's much better than the Silent Hill collection because the original version was much better than that. The problem is that it's literally identical to that one Konami released 10 years ago; except it's broken up in the UI (so Konami can sell the games piecemeal), it cost more, it runs and looks like shit on Switch and has a bunch of visual bugs on Series X. Even the PC version is locked a 720p.
