I'm really glad to see Triple Trouble doing so well in the 3DS eShop. I've always loved that game, even with its clunky gameplay and everything.

I must get it eventually. I think I only made it to zone 3 last time I played it...Physics and controls are pretty wonky, but not downright bad like certain other recent 2D sonic games

Obviously it would be better if we had some actual sell-through numbers, but it looks like Sonic is definitely popular with 3DS audiences so far.

Sort of makes you wonder about Sonic 4 Episode 2. Why not release it on 3DS and Vita if you're already making a phone version? Seems kind of odd to me.

"Game Gear? *laughs* No,"

Tsk, tsk. Even if what Red-Cap Blue-Spikes was true, it's still not too shabby.

All the gamegear games are really bad

I didn't think Triple trouble was the best of the 8-bit Sonic games, but Sonic 1 and 2 were quite good, (though Sonic 2 was a little on the unfair and scripted side). However, I prefer the Master System versions of these games due to the higher resolution and hence a better view of the surroundings.
