Anyone really miss the Sega Genesis vs. Super NES days?

I'd have to say that even though I was born in the 90's I didn't really take part in the Sega Genesis/Megadrive vs. Super NES rivalry as I only had an NES at the time before I got an N64 in 1999 so for me it was PS1 vs. N64 vs. Dreamcast and even then I didn't take it seriously as I had a healthy respect for those platforms during that time since I played them all learning their strengths/weaknesses.
