Sonic Forces Mobile: Sinister Showdown Event

Announced today on the news tab, the Sinister Showdown event is making another rerun for a week following the Chrono Silver event. For those that have missed the event the previous times it was held, it is a team event where you’re matched into either Team Infinite or Team Mephiles, and battle for the highest number of points.

During the event, either Mephiles or Infinite will appear as a AI Challenger randomly within races, granting a Challenger tier chest if you managed to come in first or second place during the race. As both Infinite and Mephiles are challenger tier characters, this will require 500 cards a piece to unlock them, but should be a easy enough feat with the challenger chests in place.

Both Infinite and Mephiles are considered to be fairly top tier within the game, so don’t miss this chance to nab them if you haven’t already. Should also be a good chance to stockpile rings if you’ve been sitting on some characters to upgrade.
