Game Ratings ESRB Gives Sonic Superstars an 'E' For Everyone Rating
Shiny Gems posted a topic in Games
The ESRB has given Sonic Superstars its US content rating, and yes, it’s what you’d expect: E for Everyone. Obviously, this isn’t especially surprising, since every Sonic game has been rated E or E10, even the one where Shadow goes out of his way to curse and murder Dr. Eggman. Sonic Superstars’ received its E rating for “mild fantasy violence.” The rating also mentions in-game purchases, and lists the following as the game’s rating summary: Sonic Superstars is expected to release sometime this Fall, with a leaked release date of October 17. via ESRB Sonic News Tips Credit: Shiny Gems Original Post Content: View full story- 5 replies

Live in Europe? Use the Nintendo eShop? I feel your pain. It's apparently intended to be both quick and free, neither of which are presently the case in Europe. From the press release: Read more here. Then, cross your fingers that this is as good as it sounds, as the present ratings system is the bane of indies attempting to publish in Europe, and I'm sure we can all think of some notable recent examples.
