Jakks Pacific's Easter Figure Wave Spotted In Stores!

It may be Feburary, but that hasn't stopped toy companies from rolling out the pastel-colored carpet in preparation for Easter! And just like Christmas, Jakks' Pacific is hopping onto the seasonal hype with a Easter line of 2.5 inch Sonic figures!

For those unfamiliar, last year, Jakks' released a surprise wave of retooled 2.5 inch Sonic figures all decked out for the holidays!

The main characters of the Classic lineup were all snuggly dressed for the most wonderful time of the year... and we also have Shadow with a bad case of the white chicken pox.

Guess that sold well, cause we got a new range of repaints and retools for the Easter season already hitting Target stores as we speak, courtesy of our good eagle eyed friends at Sonic Merch News!

This in-hand photo shows repaints of Classic Amy and Eggman, as well as two retools of Classic Sonic and the Christmas Tails, now with Bunny ears!

What is cool though is we have what appears to a much more drastic retool of Pocky, first introduced in the Level Clear Diorama playset, now molded to have a bucket to hold... one, maybe two pieces of candy?

But that's not all for the Easter figures! On the back of the packaging, it shows the full range. With one very interesting addition...

Why, it's a pink Knuckles!

Is this it? Is this the long awaited Super Knuckles figure we never thought we'd get?

...No, not really. His shoes are pink too, so it's just a funny coincidence. But still, it can serve as a perfect substitute for your 2.5 inch Super team until the day never comes that Super Knuckles gets a figure!

What are your thoughts on this surprise Easter wave? Will you be going on your own personal Easter Egg hunt for these new figures? Or are you drawing the line at Pocky with a bucket?

Easter Eggman ("Egg Eggman?") makes me wish they'd make a fig of him in his pajamas! 

Also with Pink Knux you could fudge him being based off his sprite palette in Triple Trouble or Mania too. (Kinda lol)
