It appears that Sonic fans in Asia will have a bit more to savor than the rest of the world. The official Asian Sonic Superstars website has been updated with information about a collector’s edition of the game. This edition includes a Sonic Superstars figure reminiscent of Sonic’s key art pose, an acrylic stand, and a reproduction of an original artwork signed by both Takashi Iizuka and Naoto Ohshima. Take a look!

Sonic Superstars Figure: Sonic the Hedgehog, as a figure. This 80mm long figure of Sonic the Hedgehog, holding the Chaos Emerald, is only available in this limited edition.

Sonic Superstars Acrylic Stand: A three-dimensional acrylic representation of the main visual. The acrylic stand measures approximately 105mm (H) x 150mm (W), and is designed to show the impact of the world of Sonic Superstars.

Signed Original Artwork Reproduction: A reproduction of the original illustration of Sonic the Hedgehog, measuring approximately 210mm (H) x 170mm (W). Signed by both Takashi Iizuka (the producer of the Sonic series),and Naoto Oshima (character designer of the first “Sonic the Hedgehog”), this limited edition original facsimile will be included in a wooden tabletop frame.

Japan will also have its own limited “DX” (Deluxe) edition with different goodies, which include a stylized ink painting wall scroll featuring new art of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. Additionally, there will be a set of 5 acrylic figures and some wall stickers included in this edition.

The Japanese DX edition is available for pre-order exclusively on the Japanese Sega Store, which also features two new screenshots of the game. Check them out!

There’s still no word on whether the West will receive a limited edition of the game.

That Japanese edition of the Sonic Superstars looks awesome what does everyone else think of this Japanese Edition?

Awesome. I already imported the Japanese versions of Colours Ultimate and Frontiers for their bonus collectablesa, and now I'm definitely going to import this too. I was actually a bit disappointed because it looked like the acrylic stand wouldn't be released in the UK, but if I can import the collectors edition set them I'll be satisfied enough. Shame that these have to be imported though. Can't we just get the range releases worldwide? 

There's nowhere to order the full collectors edition yet, I think? I'm only seeing the DX edition on ebten, which doesn't include the figure, stand or signed artwork.

Thanks for the heads up about the Acrylic stand version from GAME might pre ordered for my Xbox Series X. Just gonna hold out for the Collector's Edition If they do the Xbox Series X version.

Nice. It wasn't listed there the least time I checked, and still isn't on the UK Superstars website either.

I know here in the US I can get the acrylic stand if I get the game from GameStop, Best Buy, Target, or Walmart.

Though if it's feasible I may try to import this. Would be especially sweet if I could get this before Sonic Expo in November. Then I could try to get that picture signed by one of the English VAs that'll be in attendance.

Hopefully this comes to australia because at the moment there's nothing justifying pre orders for consoles when i could just buy the game off steam. It's really weird how Japan gets these and the west barely gets anything (outside of mania & generations) when nobody bought Sonic games there for decades.

Do we know yet where this will be available? I've only seen it on Play Asia, but ordering from there would mean missing out on the exclusive ebten DX pack.

You can preorder this on Play-Asia. I got one for the PS4 (I have a PS5 too but why limit it to just that).
