Games on the Sonic Humble Bundle running slow on my PC :(

Recommended Posts

Hi. Haven't been on here in a long time. PC was broke, got it fixed, etc.

Anyway right afterwards, whaddya know, I see this site posted the Sonic collection on Humble Bundle, most I haven't played, the few I have I enjoy. So I got it.

Now normally I don't use my PC to game. I'm a tech klutz and not good with computer specs at all. Buuut I know most people nowadays do it, and have been for a long time. I've played a few games on PC and figured I'd try again. Besides, the best deals tend to be on PC. (Plus... mods. Lol.)

So far I tried SADX, SA2, and Mania.

Mania is slow. It's like Sonic is floating in space the whole time. SA2 is the same.

SADX seem to run almost normal though, at least in terms of speed (a few other glitches though), and I've been playing through that again.

But it seems the others are all lagging pretty bad.

Any idea what I could do to fix this?

What are your system specs? CPU, GPU, RAM (memory)? If you don't know you can check by going Start Button > Settings > System > About if you're using Windows 10.

Edit: a one size fits all solution to getting PC games to run better is to just turn the resolution down.
