Sega have revealed their European Winter release schedule. Among the list are popular upcoming titles such as NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, Sonic Rivals 2 and Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus.

December – The Golden Compass (PC, PSP)
December 7 – Sonic Rivals 2 (PSP)
Last month we saw Sega Europe change the release date of Sonic Rivals from 02/11/07 to 30/11/07 but now they have again changed it on their site to Winter 2007. This is the first Sonic game in a long time to have been given so much delays, could they have big plans for the game or do they simply want to perfect the game? As long as it makes the game better I’m all for it.
In other news Sega Europe have finally changed the release date for the Wii version of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games on their site from Winter 2007 to 23/11/07, so it’s officially official now.
It’s that time of the year again. E3 to be precise. And Sony have released a gameplay clip of a montage of their PSP titles in development, Sonic Rivals 2 being present amongst the other games on show. Spanish gaming site confirms from SEGA the launch of Sonic Riders on the PSP.
SEGA Japan apparently plans to release the upcoming Sonic racing game, Sonic Riders, for Sony’s Playstation Portable. This means that Sonic Riders will be coming out for a total of four systems- Gamecube, Xbox, PS2 and now PSP.
Currently, there are no details on the PSP version, or even if it is going to be different. It’s safe to assume though, that it may be possible that Sonic Riders may be going Wi-Fi with the handheld. Continue reading Sonic Riders for PSP
