So the Sonic Symphony shop of merch that was promised after the London show looks to have gone live. Can be visited here: https://shop.sonicsymphonytour.com/ Has mostly what was available at the merch stand there (with the exception of one of the T-Shirt designs and the limited print. Substituted for a poster). Prices also look to be substantially raised and the postage cost isn't pretty either. (A T-Shirt costs £43 total after shipping) But the thing I want to know... Did anybody who went to those evening shows ever get their advance link or discount codes that were promised? I've searched my inboxes and come up with nothing at all.

Screenshots Check Out These Gorgeous First Screenshots For Sonic Superstars
Dreadknux posted a topic in Games
It's fair to say we're super-excited about tonight's reveal of Sonic Superstars - it's already looking like a promising like a true return to form for the colourful and attitude-heavy series! SEGA has just released some official screenshots of the game in action, and we thought you'd might like to take a look for yourself. As you can see, Sonic and the game world just look absolutely gorgeous, with eye-popping colours and vibrant environments throughout. Hopefully we'll see some original takes on some classic gameplay tropes. One of the big features about this particular game is the inclusion of up to four-player local co-op, which means that for the first time Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy can all go around kicking Dr. Eggman's mechanical Badniks in unison! We're hoping that this will open the door for some creative co-op play and routes only accessible by using certain characters' moves. It seems like, for all its Classic Sonic approach to gameplay, Sonic Superstars does pick up a few things from the more Modern Sonic titles. Such as this set-piece which sees Sonic being chased by a massive.... robot fish thing. Amy Rose is playable for only the second time in a 2D classic Sonic platforming game (after her gameplay debut in the upcoming Sonic Origins Plus, of course). Here she is running around with her Piko Piko Hammer - possibly deadly for any robots standing in her way. As reports have revealed, there are special abilities that can be unlocked using retrieved Chaos Emeralds in the game. This could be one of those powers in action. Check out more images below - all of them can be found on the Sonic Superstars official website. View full story- 9 replies

Knowing Smile Ian Flynn Teases Non-Game Sonic Superstars Project
Dreadknux posted a topic in Sonic News
IDW Sonic comic author and Sonic Frontiers story writer Ian Flynn has teased his involvement around the recently-announced Sonic Superstars. But, he’s not working on the game itself. Writing on his personal social media channel, Flynn hinted that an associated project related to Sonic Superstars is in the works. “For those asking: no I'm not involved with the game [Sonic Superstars],” the writer explained. “Nope. Not the game.” He added his trademark “Knowing Smile” phrase that suggests that something is going down. What do you think it could be? Flynn has been involved in some game tie-in comics and other media in the past, most recently for Sonic Frontiers’ prologue comics. Maybe we will see a similar one-shot arrive ahead of Superstars’ launch? Time will tell - but for now let’s have fun speculating! via Twitter View full story- 3 replies

There are large preconceptions about Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Launching at the very same time as SatAM did, AoStH kept many viewers entertained in a very different way than SatAM did. And very rightly so - AoStH and SatAM were made by the same people, but were two completely different shows. Now, many years after it's run, we have fans of SatAM that have now grown out of AoStH, which has led them to believe that AoStH is rubbish in some form or another. Don't worry, it's happened to us all as teens, thinking that something as goofy as AoStH is naff. However, many preconceptions come also from the new generation of Sonic fans - the 'Sonic Adventure' generation - who had never been a Sonic fan before Sonic Adventure, and thus did not understand the true nature of AoStH. The result was fans thinking AoStH was a similar show to the serious SatAM, and inaccurate comparisons being drawn. This page is to introduce these people into what AoStH really is, a comedy show.

When Sonic the Hedgehog became SEGA's lifeline in the videogame business, it wasn't long before the franchise branched out to other forms of media to capitalize on the success of the games. While it wasn't very surprising to see a cartoon starring the blue hedgehog, what was unusual was there were two of them within the same year. The wacky and lighthearted Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog launched earlier as a weekday cartoon, but would soon have to share it's spotlight with a more adventurous and serious episodic story on Saturday mornings simply titled "Sonic the Hedgehog." Both produced by DiC Entertainment, Sonic the Hedgehog (dubbed Sonic Saturday Morning, or "SatAM" by fans) would receive a greater focus on narrative and character development. SatAM would also introduce the "Freedom Fighters," an expanded cast of characters that helped Sonic and Tails overthrow Dr Robotnik's tyrannical rule over Mobius, and would receive an extended life as popular fan favorites in the Archie Comics.

Hey All, You probably don't know me, but I hang around the IRC 99.99% of the time. I go by Spinic. So I've noticed that http://media.sonicstadium.org/is down. I figured it was because of the recent downtime of the website and I've come to offer something. I possess a backup, not of everything, only the Music and Soundtracks section. It is fairly up to date. I'll be posting a screenshot of what I have. If you guys don't have it backed up somewhere I can upload it via ftp or something. Feel free to contact me here: petritrebs@me.com Thanks, Petri -Spinic from #sonicstadium

Have you ever play through a game or watch a show/movie and wonder if there a deeper meaning to it? I sure do. So this topic is where you can discuss intended and unintended metaphors in the media! It can range from games, TV shows, comic, books, anime, art, and manga. So anyway, I recently watch a Anime called Fooly Cooly (Also known as FLCL) If you just watch it normally, you probably view it as a "lol Japan is on crack again!" anime, but if you watch it a bit more seriously; the whole anime seem to be a big metaphor. So what the metaphor? The journey to maturity. I won't go deep into the topic since it does include topics about sex, but I do recommend that you watch the anime yourself (It just 6 episodes long) or read this article about the metaphor: http://www.flclw.com/analysis/ (As I mention before, it does include the topics about sex so avoid reading this if you feel uncomfortable about it. So that enough of me finding a deeper meaning in Anime that was just made for experimental purposes, what yours?
