Our own Jay Egge Mann (aka Disco Ponies) of The Sonic Show is battling against popular videogame radio show VGM:Awesome and well known member of the First4Figures community, JonoD (aka Cobraroll) to see who is the ultimate fan.
Once you have decided who’s side you are on, you can tune in at 8pm UK time at The Sonic Show Live channel.
The Sonic Show is back again, this time to discuss the lovely ladies of the Sonic universe.
Instead of doing the usual formula of a top 5, we decided to change things up and simply have a discussion on the subject, so enjoy as Tanner and Fuad join forces to share with each other their own personal favourite female characters from the Sonic franchise.
Do you agree with their choices? Join the discussion in the comment section.
It’s a new a year in The Sonic Show offices (let’s pretend we have offices), and
what better way to start it off than this…
…something we released on our Youtube channel a few weeks ago. But don’t let that put you off, as it’s the return of the popular “Top 5″ feature. It’s also a time to welcome our two new friends on The Sonic Show team, Tanner and Fuad. So be nice and say hello!
German website GamesWelt has shared some Sonic Generations gameplay footage which gives us our first look at the Knuckles race mission. The mission sees Classic Sonic try to beat the red echidna to the finish in a Green Hill Zone level that contains giant badniks that you’ll have to bounce on to get by or reach higher platforms. Knuckles will try to get ahead by using his digging ablity, so you’ll have to be quick.
There’s also a new remix of a song that those who have played Sonic R might recognise. We’ll let you find out what it is for yourselves.
A german website just uploaded a long preview of this years hot game (linked to in video annotation if you want to see the full thing while its up!)
. Since we fear that it could randomly vanish, we reuploaded the bit we care about, that Death Egg boss battle!
We were playing two modified versions of the Blitz Sonic engine but couldnt decide which one we preferred? The first one is Sonic BGE Anniversary and the second is Sonic Dimensions. Both control differently and have different graphical approaches to the same thing. What do you guys like best?
I understand that it sucks, but I guess Im just saying that there are more important things in life, and Im VERY confident that Sega will find a way to fleece us fans for cash on both sides of the ocean.
Does the trailer suggest that this will lead into the next episode of Sonic 4? Or are we reading to much into it? With Metal showing at the end of ep1 and now this, it would seem they want to jog out memories for episode 2.
Also with it coming out on every platform this is surely the work we heard ages ago from Taxman back 2009!? Thoughts?
While we attempt to sort out out youtube woes, that wont let us stop bringing you the videos you need! It’s time for some brand new level action for Sonic plus a cameo from BOTH Tails and a certain robot! Don’t forget to subscribe to our new channel just incase we lose our old one for good!
Today it was noticed that our youtube account had been hacked into. Nothing much had changed, they altered the title of the profile and reset the channels skin. I quickly changed my password and restored these alterations. However approx 15 minutes laters, they had deleted my whole account. This account is 5 years old, and contains videos dating back to the beginning. At this moment in time they are all gone. While I do have a lot of them backed up, some are not. If the account cannot be restored then episodes like our Summer Of Sonic special will not be able to be reuploaded due to time limitation now placed on accounts after ours was created.
This is a huge blow for The Sonic Show, as someone has basically deleted our history, our existence.
We have emailed youtube requesting for account restoration thought youtube state that they will not restore the videos or comments. We now play the waiting game.
