No 'SEGAAAA!' at the beginning Menu with Sonic wagging his finger has been removed for an ugly generic list of options There is a weird blue border around the edges of the screen once you start the game The music/sound is too quiet and of Game Gear/Master System Quality Slight input delay when pressing the jump button Terrible slowdown when you jump in the air and frame skips when going fast Glitches, got to the end of labyrinth 2 only to find no spinning post and therefore stuck, had to wait for time over Spike glitch - in Sonic games when you take a hit you become invincible for a short time, not so when you touch spikes in this port. Instead you bounce off the spikes, lose your rings and if you land on another set of spikes you die. Keep your money. Don't get this. I got burned so I feel it is my duty to warn all of you good peeps. How could this be an official Sega release? Do they have no pride in their intellectual property and their reputation as a company? They remove Unleashed, a decent game, from retail because they want to 'improve the image of Sonic as a brand' yet what is arguably Sonic's most enduring legacy in video gaming history is given such disgraceful treatment. I honestly think that they are treating Sonic fans, many of whom have stayed loyal to the franchise through the leanest of times in an unethical way by taking our money for such garbage. They must think there is no need to put the effort into an old classic because they can exploit nostalgic fools like me, well not any more. Taxman is our knight in shining armor and hopefully he will remake all the classics for us with the care and respect they deserve. P.S: I have an emulator and Rom on my PC but I wanted to play it on my big TV using a wireless controller which is why I downloaded it to my PS3.
