So this just popped up. It’s been reported that now lists a double pack of Sonic Mania (the vanilla version it appears) and Team Sonic Racing for Switch. There aren’t any listings of the pack for other platforms yet upon checking. Also it’s not clear if this is yet another of those “put two boxes in a cardboard sleeve” type of releases that Sega do occasionally, as opposed to cramming both games into one cartridge/disc.

This is likely what previews have been referring to as ‘Story’ mode and will be how players unlock new content, much like ‘Planet Superstars’ mode in SEGA Superstars Tennis. has also updated all versions of the game to a ‘Bonus Edition’, though, unfortunately, they don’t explain what this edition of the game includes. We’ll keep an eye out for an update.

M&S London 2012 3DS US Box Art Revealed

The box artwork for the Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games has appeared at US retailer The art is very different to its Wii counterpart and features eight of the game’s characters performing activities from various Olympic events. Bowser holding a dumbbell indicates we will be seeing the weightlifting event in the 3DS version.

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games will be released on Nintendo Wii November 15th 2011 in the US, November 17th 2011 in Australia and November 18th 2011 in Europe. The Nintendo 3DS version will be released February 14th 2012 in the US, February 9th 2012 in Australia and February 10th 2012 in Europe.

Sonic Classic Collection Releasing March 2nd In U.S.?

We all know retailers love to speculate release dates for future games well the fun has begun with Sonic Classic Collection on Nintendo DS that SEGA confirmed to be launching March 2010. are now listing the game and have it down for a March 2nd 2010 release in U.S. shores so they have their month right at least. Price is also listed at the very fair $29.82.

Amazon also confirm Sonic & Knuckles will lock-on with Sonic 2 and 3 but there is no mention of Sonic 1 so the Blue Sphere game that’s been present in past collections may be absent in this one.
