SatAM DVDs Coming

This news comes from Sonic HQ:

I was just over at FUS, and apparently, it looks as if there will be more Sonic SatAM DVD’s on the way. Sonique Hedgehog had written a letter to DiC Entertainment’s Don Gold, looking for information on the subject, and got this reply.

“Hi. Yes, there will be more Sonic DVD’s coming. Hopefully by the end of the year.”
She also went on to ask, for confirmation’s sake, which series it would be from, either AoStH, SatAM, or SU, and Don replied, “No problem. From Sonic the Hedgehog.” (SatAM’s actual title)
Now, it is not known exactly which eps will be next for release, but I’d be safe to say that the eps from the “Hooked On Sonics” tape that was released as part of the original set of SatAM tapes in the Spring of 1994 will be involved somehow.

Well, that’s it for me for now. Credit goes to Fans United for SatAM for this information, and to Sonique for posting the story to begin with.

New Sonic Game Rumours

This article comes from the latest article of Electronic Gaming Monthly:

“Sega’s blue, attitude-filled, sneaker wearin’ mascot has gone on his last Adventure. But dry those eyes and buck up, lil’ camper. He’s not gone for good. Sonic Team is reportedly hard at work in Japan on a brand-new Sonic that will take the ‘hog back to his roots’. That’s right-no more freakin’ searching for jewels as Knuckles. The gameplay will return to the tone of the original series, focusing on fast platforming action with no B.S. And to reflect the change in design, the game will reportedly drop the Adventures moniker it has clung to for the past few years. While a release date remains sketchy at this point, we could see see the first fresh fruits of Sonic Team’s labor by the end of the summer…”
