  • The Knuckles Series Is Coming To Blu-Ray & DVD

What are you Wade-ing for? Go pre-order it!

Have you watched the Knuckles series yet? The Sonic cinematic universe spin-off show has been available on Paramount Plus for a couple of months now, though the reception to it has been very divisive. If you haven't and/or you've been waiting for a physical release, you're in luck! Later this year, you'll be able to get all of the show's episodes on Blu-Ray, as well as DVD!

So, what are the special features? According to the back covers, there will be a Cast Featurette, a Gag Reel, and contents such as "Working With Knuckles", "This or That?" and "Knuckles Impressions". Both the DVD and Blu-Ray versions of Knuckles will have these. However, the Blu-Ray version has a steelbook variant, which includes different box artwork!

As for the release date, you won't have to wait long. The DVD and Blu-Ray versions of all 6 episodes of Knuckles are both currently slated to release on September 10th, 2024, which is less than 3 months away and also more than 3 months before Sonic the Hedgehog 3 premieres in theaters. That said, if you just can't wait to purchase a copy, they are available to pre-order at Amazon right now.

I'm glad that this show isn't going to be trapped in streaming service hell. Now here's hoping that the rest of Sonic Prime follows suit.

I’m excited. I’m glad the streaming services have been doing this some more and hope more shows will eventually get similar treatment (doesn’t have to be steelbook, either).
