DIC to Unveil 'Totally Sonic' Remaster Project at MIPCOM

    Sonic gets polished for Cannes...

It looks like Sonic the Hedgehog is heading to Cannes, courtesy of US animation company DIC Entertainment. The house of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and SatAM will be attending the industry trade show, MIPCOM, to showcase a 'remaster' project called "Totally Sonic!".

According to C21media.net, Totally Sonic! will be a 91-episode half-hour series consisting of "digitally-enhanced episodes and a 'director's cut' version of animated series Sonic the Hedgehog". It will feature a "private collection of never-before-seen episodes available for the first time to international buyers".

DIC apparently intends to use Totally Sonic! to capitalise on the launch of the upcoming Sonic Heroes, and indeed it sounds like its actual release will coincide with the new Sonic Team game as well.

Full story from C21media below, or you can click here.

Oh crap...... don't tell me DIC's at it again. The old mohawk style sonic is DEAD. LEAVE IT DEAD! I mean, the only good series to come out of that was AoSTH and even THAT was pretty bad.

I wonder which game they mean though.... Sonic Heroes, Sonic Battle, or Sonic Advance 3?

    Oh... Sonic Heroes.

Well, at least it will have the Chaotix.

.....ahhh who am I kidding, this is gonna blow I KNOW it is.

Come on you guys. Sonic Heroes is shaping up to be wonderful. The reviews I've read have said that if they fix the levels to be just like the first one with Team Sonic, it'll be amazing. And this Totally Sonic will (if I'm thinking correctly) may have the third season of the Sonic SATAM series. With Sonic X doing SA1, Sonic Heroes, Battle, and Advance 3, plus Totally Sonic, what's to complain about? Cut them some slack.

Yes I believe you were saying "Sonicoman you shut your face. AoSTH has nothing on SATAM and I'll have words for anyone who says otherwise"

Okay, okay. You guys liked SATAM, good for you... but my favorite was AoSTH and well, it pales in comparison with Sonic X. And with Sonic Underground being DIC's last attempt I really don't want them to try again. Take a look at that Advertisement. See that small Sonic? Does that look ANYTHING like the new Sonic? No. Should it? Yes. And why Totally Sonic? Thats a very cliche title. Why not call it Sonic Heroes like the game if thats what their

Hey Sonicoman first off I am sorry for that rather nasty outburst... and second, living in the UK means I have not seen Sonic X yet, but from what you and everyone else says it sounds cool. Can't wait for it :bigsmile_2003:

Hmm, if this contains episodes of SatAM then I am a considerably happy chappy. Until I know the facts I'm not getting excited about anything.

It's okay Vegito, I've been spammed flamed, and even set aflame....but that only happened once. Anyways, if it has lost eps of AoSTH I may consider it. but I don't get it. How can it be based on Sonic Heroes and be lost eps of SATAM and whatnot at THE SAME TIME?

:bigsmile_2003: Guys this is great!!! I really don't care if you guys don't like old skool sonic, but for me this is really great! I'll get all the old Sonic movies. Without these movies, most of you Sonic fans would have never saw Sonic and got interested in it in the first place. So it will have some stuff on the new Sonic game, I agree with Minnie and Sonicoman.
