  • Sonic Adventure DX Ranks Second in Best-Selling Gamecube Titles in US

Only beaten by Link and his magic wand.

The recent release of Sonic Adventure DX is apparently doing well, as a new issue of Nintendo Power magazine currently lists the game as the second-best selling title for the Gamecube, being beaten only by Nintendo's own Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. That's not bad at all!

According to the October 2003 issue of the mag (as shared by Sonic HQ), Sonic Advance 2 has also performed well for the Game Boy Advance, placing 10th for the third month running in the "Top Selling GBA Games" section. While this sounds less impressive, bear in mind that the competition is pretty fierce on the popular handheld.

However you look at it, it seems that Sonic's recent move to non-SEGA platforms is going quite swimmingly as the blue blur holds his own against the best of Nintendo's games.
