Hub worlds in Sonic Forces Theory

Sonic Forces may have hub worlds in the game similar to unleashed. im getting more of a unleashed vibe to sonic forces. after seeing a couple of concept arts i think i know whats going on with forces. i think the red coins are used for extra unlockables and they are going to be used at the resistance base in sonic forces. also thinking about the world map im gonna say hub worlds are gonna be in sonic forces it gives me a unleashed vibe and unleashed had hubs in last gen consoles for xbox 360 and ps3. so if Sonic is going to every single next gen console i bet you its gonna have hub worlds im thinking they may be the action hubs were you select a stage and i think they are more open to explore with multiple shops and npcs to talk to another thing is i think they are gonna add enemy in the hubs were you can fight them off. any way im gonna say the game is gonna have hubs its too much of a coincidence so what are your thoughts on this?

Almost looks a cyberspace / digital level. Or...possibly just a cutscene location or something, but I'd love a Zone that looks like that.

Speaking of things that might just be for cutscenes, I wonder if that Resistance base is a hub or something?

um there are gonna be hubs i can tell

Not that I care for hubs. But there could be possible that the world map be a screen in a hub HQ. Just like in Mario Galaxy 2. Mario was on his star ship hub then went to the wheel and to everyone's surprise there was a world map

The presence of a World Map screen does not negate the possibility of Hub Worlds. It's entirely possible that the map markers in the final game will point to larger regional/hub areas and they simply aren't revealing those at the moment.

I would like hub worlds to return, I feel a little more invested in the game world when they're included

If hub worlds are actually a thing in Forces, then I could probably see it playing out like this:

The Resistance HQ (presumably this area) could be the one and only 'hub' in the game. (I personally don't see there being more than one central hub area, if any.) While there, you control a character (either the Avatar or Modern Sonic) and interact with other characters for extra fluff text, as well as maybe unlocking missions. The huge monitor is then used to select a stage, customise the Avatar, or start a mission, presented exactly as we've seen before in the E3 and Gamescom demos.

i'd like that! if i can talk to everyone that'd be nice. Maybe if you're connected to the internet you can see other Avatar's walking around and going on missions.

Spoiler

10/10 best game, if i can injure classic sonic
