Agreed with the Knuckles Chaotix bad ending, it's a pretty creepy way to show you a game over.

I'll admit, I didn't find Sonic CD USA's game over music to be scary.

Well I don't find it scary now but when I was little I always had a problem with drowning in Chemical Plant Act 2 and seeing my favorite character drown due to my incompentence was pretty horrifying for a four year old so I'd have to say Sonic 2's. Doesn't bother me now though. None of them do really. Except for if I were to play Sonic CD in the dark late at night.

I don't know about the drowning music, but the Sonic CD music used to give me nightmares. Sounds like the voice of Video Game Hell laughing in triumph of my loss.

This may seem like a bit of a tame choice compared to Eggman laughing in your face, but the Sonic Adventure game over music always gave me the creeps. It doesn't rely on anything blatant to get itself across, it's just a very unnerving thing to listen to after dying.

The Weakest Link from Hell seems to be a pretty fitting name.
