Sonic Returns to Minecraft in the Sonic Texture Pack, Available Now

The world’s fastest rectangle gets a few more friends and enemies.

MAY 24 UPDATE: The Digital Deluxe Edition is now available for pre-order for $50, ten more than the standard edition.

After  being spotted in the Marketplace API, Gamemode One has officially released the Sonic Texture Pack for Minecraft Bedrock Edition, available now for 990 Minecoins (or a little under $6) on the Minecraft Marketplace. The pack includes a wide variety of skins for the blocks and creatures of the game, from anthropomorphic denizens, to chao and small animals, to a plethora of Badnik mobs.

The pack comes from Gamemode One, a Minecraft Marketplace studio specializing in both licensed and original projects, including Nickelodeon’s Avatar, PAC-MAN, How to Train Your Dragon, and (as you may recall) 2021’s Official Sonic Minecraft DLC. In a news post on Minecraft’s official site, the Sonic Texture Pack promises unique animations, inventory modifications, and “a certain eggy individual” among the pack’s designs.
