If you tuned in to catch the first eight episodes of Sonic Prime, you’re in good company. In the show’s premiere week, it hit #5 in Netflix’ own English TV Top 10 rankings list.
The ranking, which goes by hours viewed, places Prime at 27,720,000 hours, or, according to no less a source than my desktop calculator, roughly 1.26 million 22-minute episode views. It is also a rare instance of a kid-focused series hitting the the top 10, surpassing recent premiers such as Oddballs, Little Angel, and Kung-Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight.
