Preview: Sonic Universe #64

Away from the zoo lane, we have a scuffle between the detectives and the thieves.

To start June off on the comic front, Multiversity Comics have a preview of Sonic Universe #64. Knuckles and the Chaotix find themselves getting into fisticuffs with the Hooligans. While the scuffle for the Chaos Emerald is going on between the teams on opposite sides of the law, tensions are raised for both sides on all fronts. Meanwhile, Knuckles has his own mission to take care of, and he (with the trio) eventually finds something he didn’t expect. What is this light amongst the darkness? Find out in “The Great Chaos Caper”: part 2.

Knuckles and the Chaotix are back in action! “The Great Chaos Caper” Part Two: It’s hijinks and high explosives galore with Knuckles caught in the middle of all the action! 1. Looks nice. I’ve always been a fan of Archieverse Sonic and I especially love what Archie’s been doing recently since the Mega Man crossover.

  2. Brilliant! Bean has finally went full Deadpool! How long until Bark gets a robotic arm and Nack starts wearing a skull mask?

Seriously, I think it’s time Team Hooligan gets a spotlight of their own. Ian has done such a great job with these guys, and bad guys always make the most interesting heroes.

  3. Anyone else read Knuckles saying he sensed the Emerald while hearing the Pumpkin Hill song in their heads?

“I know that it’s here, I can sense it in my feet
The great emerald’s power allows me to feel”

  4. Bah, teams fighting for the sake of fighting, cheap fourth wall like jokes and game/cartoon references along with cheesy meme call backs.

This comic really went down the crapper.
