Mario & Sonic 2014: 30% off on EU eShop until Sunday

To coincide with the start of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Russia this weekend, Nintendo have announced plans to reduce the price of the latest Mario & Sonic game by 30% if you buy it from the Wii U eShop or through the Nintendo UK Online Store.

The offer will run from tomorrow (7th February) to 23:59 on Sunday, 9th February. If you’ve yet to pick up the game or have been itching for a discount on the digital version, now might be the time to take the plunge. This offer is currently only announced for Europe, but we will update you if it becomes available for any other regions.

  1. Yeah, no. eShop games are way too overpriced. 39 pounds after a discount is stupidly expensive, especially for this okay at best mini-game collection.

    1. £39.99 is the normal price for the game – the discount doesn’t start until tomorrow. The game will cost somewhere around £28 during the promotion.

      1. Still, when retailers like Shopto sell the game for less than 25 for the physical copy… I dunno, eShop prices are so unjustified (especially with virtually no printing / shipping costs or overstocking risks)

        1. Oh yeah you can definitely still get it cheaper elsewhere – I just wanted to clear up the fact that £39.99 is the normal price, not the discounted one XD
