New Sonic All Stars Racing Trailer Shows Off Wii U Features

This morning, Sega put up another trailer for Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed. This time, the focus is on all the features of the Wii U version. Features shown include 5 player split-screen, 10 player online, rear view and weapon view cameras, optional tilt control and more. If the video is indicative of the Wii U version, it’s looking pretty smooth. Now you know why this is the version I’m picking up with my launch Wii U.

And you too can pick Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed on Wii U, 360 or PS3 when it races into stores November 18th in the US and November 16 in Europe (Wii U version Nov 30).

  1. Well, I’m switching my pre-order from the Xbox 360 version to the Wii U version now. And the fact it’s the cheapest launch title for the Wii U makes it even better!

  2. wasn’t this trailer supposed to reveal the last third guest character? didn’t see any new character

  3. This makes me want to get a Wii-U…but considering I have a Wii and I barely ever played that thing….Maybe once the Wii-U and this game depreciate in value.

  4. hmmm..errr….yeeeeeeaaaahhh.

Nah, gonna stick with the 360 version. Once excellent game cannot redeem the fallacies of an entire system.

Ok, so the Wii-U has the Wonderful 101, Rayman Legends, This game, Pikmin 3 and the upcoming Bayonetta 2and Smash Bros….. but having tried it at Comic-Con, I remain cautious for the moment.

  5. The dates are screwed up. Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will be released on November 20th. Wii U version will be released on the day the console launches which is the 18th. 3DS and PSVita will be released on December 11. Those are the American release dates.

Xbox 360 and PS3 versions for Europe will be released on November 16. The Wii U version will be released on November 30. 3DS and PSVita will be released the same day as the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

PC and iOS has no release dates yet.

    1. The dates are correct. I don’t know why your recycling the Europe dates as that’s EXACTLY what I put.

The U.S. dates have been confirmed for Nov 18th on all three consoles. So that’s correct too.
