Official Sonic X Websites Launch for Japanese Premiere

The day of Sonic X is fast approaching for Japanese fans, and to help generate some hype it appears that not one, not two, but three official websites for the show have launched!

The three websites belong to Sonic Team (the developer of the video games and production partner of the anime), TV Tokyo (the station broadcasting the show) and TMS (the animation studio working on the project). Each have their own unique approach and unique information.

First, the Sonic Team website. It doesn’t have an awful lot to go on at the moment, but there was a page dedicated to ‘goods’ which detailed a number of Sonic X branded products that Sonic Team displayed at the Amusement Expo back in February. Pictures from that are above.

TV Tokyo’s website includes information on Japanese cast, characters and general story (much of which we’ve covered on TSS already). We do have some nice character art though, you can see that above.

TMS Entertainment’s website is mostly the same as TV Tokyo’s, with one exception – some cool production sketches! They have sketches for all the characters as well as the mechs in the show. Head here to see them!

The Sonic Stadium may link to retailers and earn a small commission on purchases made from users who click those links. These links will only appear in articles related to the product, in an unobtrusive manner, and do not influence our editorial decisions in any way.
