DiC Launches Brand New Website With Focus on Sonic Cartoons

There’s no smoke without fire, they say – and animation house DiC has curiously relaunched its official website with brand new details and info on its past Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons, adding fuel to the rumours that DVD re-releases of the shows could happen soon.

DiC’s new website is certainly a lot flashier than before, with pages of info on its large back catalogue of TV programmes. Sonic the Hedgehog features rather prominently on all sides of the website, both in its design and in the detail. Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) and Sonic Underground are all represented here, as well as the spinoff Sonic Christmas Blast.

There are even short video clips of AoStH¬†and Sonic Underground that you can watch – we’ve included copies of them in the links above so you can see for yourself.

Check out the info pages on DiC’s website right here and cross those fingers that those rumoured plans for a fresh DVD release will happen soon.
