Sonic Forces and Dash Introduces Series Knuckles, Drummer Cream, Metal 3.0 And More!

As the days draw closer to the release of the Knuckles show, more and more Sonic games are getting in on the cross promotion frenzy. Last weekend, Sonic Speed Simulator got first dibs in introducing Movie Knuckles and the gang into their game. Now it's SEGA Hardlight's turn! The Sonic mobile game devs tweeted out a tease showing off three new characters arriving to not just Sonic Forces Mobile, but Sonic Dash too! Meet Series Knuckles, Drummer Cream and the long overdue Metal Sonic 3.0! This isn't the first time Movieverse Knuckles arrived in Forces or Dash, but this is SERIES Knuckles, sporting his famous treasure hunting cap! But let's not rule out Metal 3.0, who has been making quite the resurgence lately in his appearances! He is not only in Sonic Speed Simulator, but he also got his own merch in the Jakks Pacific product line! Now he makes the jump to not one, but two mobile games! Not bad for a recolor that only appeared in Sonic Rivals 2, no? Hardlight also tweeted out the release dates for all three characters so you know just when to log in and start running! Series Knuckles: April 26th Drummer Cream: May 13th Metal Sonic 2.0: May 20th No word on if these characters will also show up in Sonic Prime Dash or Sonic Dash+ , but chances are Drummer Cream and Metal 3.0 will arrive sooner or later. Movie characters don't seem to be in these alternative versions however. On top of the official announcements, an additional character was spotted in a recent datamine: Pyromancer Blaze! A more mystical take on the fiery cat, she looks to be an addition to this sub series of new Black Knight inspired alts starting with Paladin Amy. What do you think of this new lineup of racers? Sonic Dream Team Sonic Dream Team Gets New Zone And Ranking System On April 17th

Get that renewal of your Apple Arcade subscription ready Sonic fans, cause it is time to return to the Dreamscape! A free update to Sonic Dream Team is on the way this week! As reported on by Digital Trends, starting April 17th, Sonic Dream Team will be expanded with an all new world: Sweet Dreams Zone. This new locale contains pulleys, swings and poles to help reach the uncharted skies as you complete a new suite of objectives! Additionally, the classic Sonic ranking system is being added to every single level in the game, allowing you to perfect your speedrunning tactics and get those S-Ranks! What would a Sonic game be without them, after all? Lastly, this new update will bring forth some additional new collectibles yet to be disclosed. But we won't have long to wait to find out what they are, and what they will do! Additionally, Digital Trends reached out to SEGA Hardlight, the developers of Sonic Dream Team on the status of additional playable characters, especially due to SEGA's big Year of Shadow marketing campaign. So far, they can't confirm or deny, but they are open to the idea. But for now, this will surely make do! Will you be logging onto your iOS device April 17th to visit Sweet Dreams Zone? Or will you play through everything again to see just how many S-Ranks you can rack up? Or are you still patiently waiting for the day this game comes to other platforms? Keep waiting, by the way. Bouncing its way on iOS and Android devices "soon", this mobile game - presumably made by Hardlight Studios - will have more combos, more action, and more FEVER! Anyone excited for this?- 128 replies

Very interesting. It's like Sonic Dash, just Crazy Taxi. I enjoyed Sonic Dash, so I'm excited for this. Seems like SEGA are bringing back their older franchises though mobile games.
