Win A Signed Sonic Album!

That charming chap up there is TSS' UK Editor, Adam Tuff. He is big and Northern. Because of this (and his hat), he has managed to claim the attention of many an unsuspecting victim, largely of the Sonic persuasion. In this particular adventure, Adam fought tooth and nail (read: politely asked) legendary Sonic composer/sound producer Jun Senoue (of Crush 40 and Sonic 3 fame) to sign a copy of the latest Sonic 06 soundtrack, 'Several Wills'. This CD's only been out in Japan a month or so, and Junny baby's pushing for something of an international release. Until that happens though, we've got this copy to give out to a lucky TSS reader. Enough to make your mouth water.

The Challenge!

A simple contest this one. We want you to be like Jun for just a few seconds, and assume the role of a songwriter. Imagine you're helping Zebrahead build their theme song for Sonic 06. But they get stuck on the chorus, and need your help. Complete this line, but with your own ending:

"In His World, _____ ____ __ ______."

Now, the point is NOT to give us the correct ending to this line (that would be "Where Life Is Strong" or whatever it is - who cares really?). The point, dear reader, is for you to create your own alternative ending to the line. Creativity will win this contest, and humour and all if you can cram it in. Bonus points if the syllables in your alternate ending suits the flow of the song.

The Winner!
Well, we had craploads of entries and it was really hard to pick just one good'un. We've had cool meaningful entries such as "[In His World,] Life Is Just A Game" and downright bizarre ones ("Where Svend is his bitch"... cheers Steffen). Funny ones and serious ones aside, not one of them prepared us for this gem of a line from Joshua Boudreaux, which has us laughing the moment we read it. And got us in the mood to play Shenmue or Yakuza for a fifteenth time.

"In His World, Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting".

We feel a little childish and silly for liking this one, but it works because it's so random, and there's that little scene where Shadow kicks Silver in the head in the game (stop trying to justify yourself - God). But yeah. It doesn't really flow with the music but... actually, we don't know if actually does or not, because every single time we read it we sing the second half to Carl-bleeding-Douglas. For that sheer power, a copy of Several Wills is on its way to you Joshua. Mit signature from the other-worldly Jun Senoue. Enjoy.

For those of you still looking out for a copy of the soundtrack, you can grab one via import from websites like CDJapan.co.jp (NB: 2000 Yen is ~£10, but shipping charges might be added). Or snoop about online a bit. But since we got loads of people asking how to obtain a copy themselves if they don't happen to win, we thought we'd do a bit of Googlin' for ya. :)

And now the obligatory yoo-hoo: Thankee to Jun Senoue for gracing the winning album with his pen, no doubt inked from the blood of his deceased midget victims; and props to TSS Editor Ad "The Ad" Tuff. Primarily for being Northern (it does take courage), but also for the prize and stuff. And thanks to everyone who took part as well. You so pretty. Till next time when we have another crazy contest for you to enter!

P.S. We know Johnny from Crush 40 wrote 'His World' and not Zebrahead, but we thought it'd be easier for some people to comprehend the contest better. We no dumb. Right pot plant? Pot plant and me have good times. He am best friend.
