This port was released shortly after the arrival of the original Mega Drive version of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Which isn't that original in itself, seeings as it was Puyo Puy- *slap*. The story, as is the concept of the game, is all intact from the 16-Bit games, so there isn't much more to understand if you've played Mean Bean Machine on your MD or Genny. This is the second of two ported games that indirectly involves Sonic - the other was Sonic Spinball. The premise is that Robotnik (in pure AoStH style naturally... groan) devises a contraption he titles the 'Mean Bean Steaming Machine'. This will turn all the beans of Beanville into his slaves. He sends out his henchmen to bring him these beans - but it's your job to stop them in their tracks!
