Astroboy was the brainchild of Dr. Osamu Tezuka, considered by many to be the father of modern manga and anime. Debuting in the April of 1952, under the title "Tetsuwan Atom". Astroboy would later go on to become a major force, spawning the manga industry. This game was made to capatilize on his return to the television screen in an all new anime, and features many characters, locations, and voice work from the new anime.
